CROSS-BORDER TRANSPORT

We hold Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) certificates, designating us as a reliable and trustworthy recipient and sender vis-a-vis the customs authorities for cross-border transport.
All of the data is sent electronically to the customs authority. This provides all operators involved with customs and the customs authorities with flexible tools to support the requirements of modern goods transportation.

INSPECTED CONSIGNMENTS

As a so-called Authorised Economic Operator (AEO), we as a company can carry out the import declaration at an approved location (company domicile). The consignments receive AEO certification while in transit from the border. The competent customs office decides whether the consignment is to be inspected within a set period of time The inspections are carried out at the approved location. This also works in exactly the same way in the other direction, i.e. for exports from Switzerland.

Key benefits of the procedure

• More flexible timing. Under certain conditions, goods can also be imported and exported outside the normal office hours of the competent customs office.
• Not tied to a local customs office. Consignments do not have to be brought to a customs office. Existing infrastructures can be put to the best possible use to handle goods.
